Hey there! I’m Abbigail Wells, and I’m thrilled to be your host on the Best Better Podcast! As the 4-H Agent for Lenoir County since 2022, I’m passionate about empowering youth through hands-on learning and community engagement with NC 4-H.

With my degree in Animal Science from NC State University, I’m dedicated to helping young people discover their potential and become leaders in their communities. On the Best Better Podcast, we create a lively and safe space for Lenoir County youth to explore fun topics like community, citizenship, leadership, and pop culture!

When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying the beach, diving into a good book, or spending time with friends and family. I’m always on the lookout for my next travel adventure!

Hey there! I’m Joel Dixon, a proud Kinston, NC native, and I’m super excited to welcome you to the Best Better Podcast! I’ve spent over five years immersed in youth development and three amazing years in Cooperative Extension. As a proud NC 4-H alum and a member of the 4-H Honor Club, I’ve had the honor of representing 4-H at local, state, and national levels, even serving as a district president along the way!

My passion is all about empowering young people to reach their full potential, and I believe every voice matters. That’s why the Best Better Podcast is here—to give Lenoir County youth a safe and vibrant space to dive into exciting topics like community, citizenship, leadership, and pop culture!
